Since 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha has led with integrity, scholarship, and service. Xi Psi Lambda carries this legacy forward in Sarasota-Manatee Counties—mentoring leaders, uplifting communities, and fostering lasting change.

Our History

A Legacy Rooted in Purpose

In 1984, seven visionary Alpha men saw the need for a graduate chapter in Sarasota-Manatee counties. Their commitment to service, mentorship, and leadership led to the formation of Xi Psi Lambda, carrying forward the mission of Alpha Phi Alpha.
